Subsidies & Savings

You Might Qualify for $0/Month Health Insurance.

Millions of Americans are paying more than they have to — or going without coverage — because they don't know about ACA subsidies. Let's fix that.

What are ACA subsidies?

The Government Helps Pay Your Premium. Here's How.

Premium Tax Credits

Reduce your monthly premium directly. Applied automatically when you enroll through the Marketplace.

Cost-Sharing Reductions

Lower your deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket maximums — available to those earning under 250% of the federal poverty level.

CHIP for Children

Free or very low-cost health coverage for children in families that earn too much for Medicaid but need help with premiums.

Full ACA Benefits

Same comprehensive coverage as any employer plan — doctor visits, ER, prescriptions, mental health, and more.

Example

A single person earning $35,000/year could qualify for a subsidized plan with a monthly premium as low as $0–$50/month and low copays for doctor visits.

How do I get my subsidy?

When you enroll through the Marketplace, your Premium Tax Credit is applied directly to your monthly premium — you pay the reduced amount from day one.

What if my income changes during the year?

You should report income changes to the Marketplace as soon as possible. This adjusts your subsidy in real time and prevents surprises at tax time.

Can I get a subsidy if I'm self-employed?

Yes — and self-employed individuals often qualify for larger subsidies because their income can be estimated more flexibly. Our agents are experienced with this.

Do subsidies affect my taxes?

PTCs are reconciled at tax time. If your income was higher than estimated, you may repay a portion. If lower, you may receive additional credit. We'll help you estimate accurately.
